Obituary Condolences

ARLINGTON -- Funeral services for Mrs. Clara B (Wilcox) Edgerton were held at the Arlington Chapel of the Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home on Sunday, March 25, 2007. Conducting the service was longtime family friend, the Rev. Jane Buswell. A poem written for her mother was read by Adris Clark, and the congregation joined in the recitation of the Lord’s Prayer. Special musical selections for the service included the congregation singing of “In The Garden,” Violinist Terry Wilcox accompanied soloist Nicole Rohrig in singing “Amazing Grace,” the hymn of meditation played by Mrs. Wilcox was “How Great Thou Art.” Serving as bearers were Michael Wilcox, Robert Young, James Edgerton Jr., John Wilcox, Scott Finney and Marshall Clark. Burial will take place in the family lot in the West Arlington Cemetery at a later date.

A memorial reception followed in the parlor of the funeral home.

Mrs. Edgerton, 93, a former resident of West Arlington died on March 22 at The Prospect Nursing Home in North Bennington.

Arrangements were under the care of the Arlington Chapel of the Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home.
