Obituary Condolences

BENNINGTON -- Funeral services for Mr. Clayton “Bill” Jepson were held from the Mahar & Son Funeral Home Thursday morning with the Rev. Norma Drosky, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating.

Hymns offered during the service were “Amazing Grace,” “How Great Thou Art” and “On Eagles’ Wings.” Words of remembrance were offered by Mr. Jepson’s daughter-in-law, Mary Jepson, his granddaughter, Kathleen Williams, and his great-grandson, Noah Williams. A reading was offered by a Mr. Jepson’s granddaughter, Jennifer Smith.

Bearers were Noah Williams, James Williams, Ethan Smith, James Pleasant, James Jepson, Marshall Salvi and Sam Salvi.

The burial took place in the family lot in White Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Drosky offering the committal prayers. Military taps were offered by Maurice Rancourt. The flag was folded and presented by Mr. Joseph Krawczyk and Mr. Ralph Brown.

A reception followed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Jepson.

Mr. Clayton “Bill” Jepson, a resident of Riverside Drive in Bennington, died Sunday, Aug. 1, 2004 at his residence. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Mahar & Son Funeral Home, 628 Main St. in Bennington.
