Clifford N. Wilson ORANGE CITY, FL Clifford N. "Kip" Wilson, 92, died Oct. 22, 2008, at his home. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Salem, N.Y.Mr. Wilson retired as a machinist for Lewis Brothers Mill after more than 44 years. He moved to Orange City in 1978 from his birthplace of West Rupert, Vt. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved scooter-riding with his wife, Ginnie, and brightening the lives of others with his jokes, puzzles, and infinite creativity. Mr. Wilson served in the 63rd Infantry Division of the Army during World War II, receiving the Bronze Star and a Purple Heart while serving in the Pacific Theater. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Virginia, in 2007; one daughter, Maralie Wilson; and his parents, Jay E. Wilson and Calista Morehouse Wilson. He leaves two daughters, Melodie Robinson of DeLand, Fla., and Sue Jolly of East Arlington, Vt.; two sisters, Bertha Roberts and Lillian Carlton, both of Salem; one brother, Jay Jr. of West Rupert; four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
