1954 - 2014 MANCHESTER Clifford A. Wilcox, 60 a resident of West Lathrop Lane died peacefully at his home on Friday evening Sept. 26, in the presence of his loving family. The son of William and Edith (Verwald) Wilcox, he was born on Mar. 3, 1954, and grew up in Livonia Mich. where he graduated high school and attended School Craft College. He married Pauletta Mae Adkins in Livonia in 1978. Clifford and Pauletta built their own home in Manchester. Cliff worked for Mack Molding for 35 years and was currently a Materials Manager, in addition he had worked as a Pastry Chef at The Wilburton Inn. Cliff enjoyed studying genealogy, fishing, horseback riding, and was an accomplished carpenter. He will be remembered as a loving father, wonderful husband and for his sarcastic wit. He leaves his wife, Pauletta Wilcox; daughter, Lauren A. Wilcox, and her husband, Kyle H. Leard, all of Manchester; brothers, Paul Wilcox of Va., and Gordon Wilcox of Mich. "I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately. . ." FUNERAL NOTICE: A service to celebrate the life of Cliff Wilcox will be held at the Brewster-Shea Funeral Home on Saturday Oct. 4 at 2 p.m. with the Reverend Claire North presiding.
