Clinton R. Perkins 1928 - 2009 WEST RUPERT Clinton R. Perkins passed away April 12, 2009, at the Veteran's Home in Bennington. He was born in West Rupert on Jan. 19, 1928, where he lived most of his life. An avid sportsman, Mr. Perkins loved to hunt, fish and play baseball. He leaves his wife of many years, Marion R. Perkins of Sarasota, Fla.; two daughters, Deborah Fuelner and companion, Carl Tiedeman, of Alamogordo, N.M., and Jacqueline and Rick Sprague of West Rupert; three sons, John and Nancy Perkins of Sunderland, Anthony and Melinda Perkins of Sandgate, and Brian and Kimberly Perkins of West Rupert; a brother, Richard Perkins of Hebron, N.Y., nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. FUNERAL NOTICE: A private family burial will be held at a later date. A public service will be held at the Rupert United Methodist Church at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2009. Following the service, a gathering will be held at the Rupert Fire House. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the .
