Constance May Dunn

1932 - 2014 MANCHESTER CENTER Constance May Dunn, 82, a resident of Manchester Center, passed away June 5, 2014, at her home surrounded by her family. Constance was born in Arlington, Vt. on Jan. 2, 1932, the daughter of Louis M. and Alta Squires Phillips Budro and received her education in Arlington schools. Constance worked as a waitress for many years before going to work for Orvis Company for twenty-one years. She retired at the age of sixty-two and moved to Bradenton, Fla. and lived there for fifteen years. Constance enjoyed camping, bowling, knitting, and playing her organ. She was President of the Ladies Club at Seabreeze Mobil Estate for four years and part of their bowling league. She is survived by her husband, John H. Dunn, whom she married on Feb. 12, 2011; children, Richard Hoyt and his wife, Kate, of Claremont, N.H., Larry Hoyt and his wife, Nancy, of Arlington, David Hoyt and his wife, Jeanie, of Shaftsbury, and Sandra Knight and her husband, Edward, of Manchester,Vt.; brothers, Leo Budro of Arlington and Tyrone Budro of Oregon; nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her first husband, Fred Hoyt, whom she married at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in North Bennington. Mr. Hoyt passed away on May 16, 2007. FUNERAL NOTICE: A Mass of Christian death and burial will be cerebrated Thursday, June 12, 2014, at 11 a.m. at St Paul's Catholic Church (Christ Our Savior Parish) in Manchester. There are no visiting hours. Interment will be held at the Gerald B. Solomon Saratoga Nations Cemetery on Friday. If friends desire, memorial gifts in Constance's memory may be made to Manchester Health Services/Hospice Care, c/o Brewster and Shea Funeral Services P.O. Box 885 Manchester, VT 05255.
