Courtney D. Jaenecke 1979-2008 BENNINGTON - Courtney D. Jaenecke, 28, a resident of White Birches Park, Bennington, died suddenly Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008, at her residence. Born August 2, 1979 in Burlington, daughter of Dieter E. Jaenecke and Darlene Olin Jaenecke. She received her education in local schools. A Licensed Nursing Assistant, Courtney was employed at Prospect Nursing home in North Bennington at the time of her death. Courtney was a very warm, kind, generous and loving person. Although she was very reserved, she was a wonderful caregiver to the elderly. She felt that she was giving something of herself to the world by taking care of the elderly. She will be missed as the world was a much better place because of her gentle spirit. The center of her world and the loves of her life were her daughter, Logan Ann "Peanut" Lachance, and her fiancée and lifetime companion, Paul Lachance. Courtney also leaves her mother, Darlene Jaenecke and her fiancée, Warren McIntyre, both of East Dorset; her father, Dieter "Pete" Janencke of Bennington; a brother, Pete Jaenecke, and his fiancée, Angie Campbell, both of North Bennington; her maternal grandmother, Beatrice Olin, of Shaftsbury; two step-children, Dustin and Zachary Lachance; her fiancée's mother and close friend, Marilyn Weglarz, of Bennington; two nephews, several aunts, uncles and cousins. FUNERAL SERVICE: Memorial services celebrating the life of Courtney D. Jaenecke will be held from MAHAR & SON FUNERAL HOME Monday, Feb. 25, 2008 at 7 p.m. with Rev. Jerrod Hugenot, pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 6 p.m. until the time of the service.
