Obituary Condolences

BENNINGTON -- Funeral services for Crosby O. Howe were held from the Mahar & Son Funeral Home on Monday afternoon with the Rev. Mary Lee Clark, Pastor of the Second Congregational Church, officiating.

Musical selections offered during the service were “Now Thank We All Our God” and “For All the Saints.” David B. Haley sang the Lord’s Prayer.

Words of remembrance were offered by a nephew, Reg Jones. Mr. Howe’s great-granddaughter Brittany Crawford offered a poem “Grandpa I Will Not Say Goodbye” which was read by the Rev. Mary Lee Clark.

Serving as pall bearers were Marc Howe, Glenn Sausville, Brian Howe, David Howe, Jeffrey Howe and Joe Crawford

The burial took place in the family lot in White Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Mary Lee Clark offering the committal prayers.

A reception followed the service at the home of Mr. Howe’s daughter, Shirley Sausville.

Mr. Clyde O. Howe, a longtime resident of East Road in Bennington, died Friday Nov. 24, 2006.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Mahar & Son Funeral Home in Bennington.
