1946 - 2015 BENNINGTON Cynthia T. Peacock, 68, a resident of Division Street died unexpectedly Thursday Jan. 1, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Troy, N.Y. Jan. 31, 1946 and was the daughter of the late Charles Trigg and Martha (Gillespie) Trigg. Cynthia received her early education in Berlin, N.Y. and later graduated from Plattsburgh State College with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. For over 20 years Cindy was employed as a teacher and a paraprofessional in the Bennington Schools. She worked at Greenberg's Hardware Store in Bennington for six years and also helped her daughter Lisa with her Day Care business. She married Donald Peacock in 1981. Mr. Peacock died May 19, 1996. Survivors include two daughters, Laurie Lindsay and her husband, Patrick, of Pownal, Vt., and Lisa Peacock and Chris Nosal of Bennington; five grandchildren, Lee, Morgan, Landon, Gavin and Gage; a sister, Barbara Trigg Donela and her husband, Richard, of Keeseville, N.Y.; a brother, Christopher Trigg of Dorset, Vt.; and several nieces and nephews FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral will be held from the MAHAR AND SON FUNERAL HOME in Bennington on Sunday Jan. 4, 2015 at 1 p.m. If friends desire contributions in memory of Cynthia T.
