Cynthia W. Tatro 1939 - 2008 BENNINGTON, VT. Cynthia W. Tatro, 68, of Jayne Lane died Sunday evening, March 30, 2008 at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center, following a long illness. Born in Bennington on Nov. 3, 1939, daughter of Marshall and Alice Brown White, she received her education in Bennington and in Springfield,graduating in 1957. She had spent several years in Hartford and Enfield, Conn., and returned to Bennington in 1973. Upon returning to Bennington, she worked at the Chittenden Bank, until her retirement in 1995. After her retirement she did the bookkeeping for Robert Tatro, Inc. Cynthia enjoyed being with family, and "lunching" with her sisters. She loved board games, an occasional trip to the casino, and her cat friends, Miss Kitty and Wild Bill. She leaves her husband, Robert Tatro Sr. whom she married March 30, 1985 in Bennington. Besides her husband, she leaves her children,Susan Ritchie of East Dorset and her fiancé, Alec Marshall, Gregory Lockwood and wife, Darlene, of Shaftsbury, Kathy Tatro and her husband, Keith, of Bennington, and Judy Edwards and her husband, Robert, of West Dover; her step-children, Robert Tatro Jr. and his wife, Kim, of Bay City, Texas, Keith Tatro and his wife, Kathy, Terry Tatro, Michelle Tatro and Steven Tatro and wife, Shannon, all of Bennington; her grandchildren, Rebecca Eliott, Kristen Dunican, Kenneth Johnson, Jason, Marissa and Gregory Edwards, Devin, Colin, Garrett, Ryan, Patrick, Landon, Vincent, Aja, Seth, Michelle Gabrielle and Alexis Tatro, and Ashley Harrington and Stephanie Scrivens, many nieces and nephews and several great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She leaves her sisters, Jane Morse and her husband, David, and Barbara Moyle, all of Lake Wales, Fla., Carol Ell and her husband, Jack, of Deland, Fla., and Susan Miller and her husband, Brian, of Farmington, Conn., and her sister-in-law, Betty White of Bennington. Cynthia was predeceased by her parents; a brother, Henry White; a brother-in-law, Robert Moyle, and a son-in-law Ronald Ritchie. FUNERAL NOTICE: Services will be held Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at 5 p.m. at the MAHAR and SON FUNERAL HOME, 628 Main St. Interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family in Ira Allen Cemetery in Sunderland. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 until the time of the service.
