Danielle Marie O’Brien

EAST DORSET -- Danielle M. O’Brien, 30, a resident of East Dorset and formerly of Bennington, died Sunday morning, June 5, 2005, along with her husband Michael in a automobile accident in Manchester. She was born in Bennington, Oct. 13, 1974, the daughter of Eugene and Marie (Johnson) Lauzon. She grew up in Bennington and graduated from Bennington High School.

Danielle married Michael O’Brien in August 2003 at St. John’s Episcopal Chapel in Manchester Village. The couple lived on Ponderosa Lane in East Dorset. Danielle worked at the Manchester Price Chopper for the last 10 years. Along with Michael, she was a distributor of Melaleuca products. She also worked on the Vermont Access Television show “Vermont Forest” with Claude Dern and Bruin the bear. She was a volunteer with the Big Brother Big Sister program. She was always friendly and open to others. She loved to read and loved animals, especially cats. Along with Michael, she enjoyed music, the outdoors and simple everyday living. Her friends and family will miss her kind and caring ways as well as her beautiful smile.

She is survived by her father, Eugene, and stepmother, Gloria of Bennington; her brother, Anthony Lauzon of Providence, R.I., and stepbrother Phillip Cavanagh of Cleveland, Tenn.; her stepsisters, Sharon Mattison and Michelle Pape, both of Arlington, and Allison Cavanagh of Bennington; several nieces, nephews, aunts uncles and cousins.

The funeral service for Danielle and Michael will be on Wednesday, June 8, 1:30 p.m. at the Zion Episcopal Church in Manchester. Committal services will follow in the South Village Cemetery in East Dorset. All are invited back to the church for a time of fellowship and refreshment. Friends may call Tuesday night 7 to 9 p.m. at Brewster Funeral Home in Manchester.
