Obituary Condolences

BENNINGTON -- Diana F. Church, 49, a resident of Gore Road died unexpectedly Friday, Jan. 9, 2004 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H.

Born in Petersburgh, N.Y. on Feb. 17, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Robert Church and the former Gertrude (Deakin) Church, who survives. She received her education in the Petersburgh, N.Y. and Vergennes and Bennington schools.

In earlier years, Diana was employed at the former BenMont Paper Mill store and Generations Childcare Center. She enjoyed playing bingo and will be remembered for the many baby blankets which she crocheted for her family and friends.

Survivors include her fiancé, Dan Brown Sr., of Bennington; her mother, Gertrude Butler of Bennington; two daughters, Victoria Delaney and her husband Ernie of Sunderland and Jolene Brown of Lebanon; three sons, Josh Camp and his fiancée Tina Dupuis of Pownal, Thomas Camp and his fiancée Shauna Moore of Bennington and Dan Brown Jr. of Bennington; eight grandchildren, Shelby, Kyle, Josephine, Brittany, Jasmine, Brad-Michael, Eric-Paul, Sara and Angel; three sisters, Catherine Devlin of North Bennington, Caroline Church of Troy, N.Y. and Gayle Rifenburgh of Hoosick Falls, N.Y.; two brothers, Garry Church of Maryland and Bruce Church of Hoosick Falls; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral will be held from the Mahar & Son Funeral Home, Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2004 at 5 p.m. with the Rev. Gaylord Campbell, pastor of the Pownal United Methodist Church, officiating.

Friends may call at the Mahar & Son Funeral Home Tuesday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.
