Obituary Condolences

BENNINGTON -- The Liturgy of Christian Death and Burial for Eloise M. Killelea was celebrated Thursday morning, Oct. 21, 2004, at St. Margaret Mary’s Catholic Church in Arlington. The Rev. George Dupuis was the celebrant. Music was under the direction of organist Louise Gauthier. The offertory hymn was “Whispering Hope” and the Communion hymn was “Ave Maria.” The scripture readings from the Old and New Testament, and the Gospel according to Mark, were offered by Rev. Dupuis.

The gifts were presented at the altar by Cecil Power and Diane Gordon. Altar server was Karoline Maitland. Words of remembrance and a time of reflection were offered by Mrs. Killelea’s son-in-law, Jack Kehoe.

Committal services were conducted on Friday morning, Oct. 22, in the family lot in Evergreen Cemetery in Leominster, Mass., where the Rev. O’Mara from St. Leo’s Catholic Church offered both burial rites and committal prayers.

Serving as pall bearers were William Wolfe, Robert Long, Ken Smith, Mark Shea and Thomas Lloyd.

Wednesday evening at Hanson Walbridge Arlington Chapel, Rev. Dupuis offered a Catholic prayer and vigil service.

Eloise M. Killelea, formerly of Franklin Square, Long Island, N.Y., and Lost Lake Road in Arlington, died Friday, Oct. 15, 2004 at Crescent Manor Care Centers in Bennington.

Arrangements were under the care of Hanson Walbridge Arlington Chapel.
