Obituary Condolences

BENNINGTON -- Funeral services for Mr. Ernest G. Lampron were held from Sacred Heart Saint Francis de Sales Church Thursday, Feb. 12, 2004 where the liturgy of Christian death and burial was offered by the Rev. Vincent Coppola, c.s.c., associate pastor.

Organist was Donald McMahon and Cantor was Monica Murray. Hymns offered during the funeral mass were “Amazing Grace,” “Ave Maria,” “Be Not Afraid” and “On Eagle’s Wings.” The pall was placed on the casket by Mr. Lampron’s three nephews: Jeremy Johnson, David Watson, Nathan Sherman and a brother-in-law, Paul Kennedy. A wooden cross was placed on the casket by Mr. Lampron’s wife Trina and son Joe. The scriptural readings were offered by Joe Anton and Betty Tange. The offertory gifts were presented by Trina and Joe Lampron.

Acolytes were Val Clifford, James Kemp, John Reed and Len Anzivino.

Bearers were Jeremy Johnson, David Watson, Nathan Sherman and Paul Kennedy.

A prayer service at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home preceded the mass.

Wednesday afternoon the wake service was offered by the Rev. Robert Lozinski, pastor of Sacred Heart Saint Francis de Sales Church.

The burial took place in the family lot in White Chapel Cemetery. A reception followed at the Sacred Heart Saint Francis de Sales Parish Center.

Mr. Lampron a resident of Gore Road died Monday Feb. 9, 2004 at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Mahar and Son Funeral Home in Bennington.
