Eva Dean Littlefield Obituary
Formerly of Hoosick Falls, NY and Laconia, NH, Eva passed away peacefully at Aaron Manor Nursing Home in Fairport, NY on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at age 84. She was born November 1, 1933 in Chandler, AZ, daughter of the late Eli and Arie (DePriest) Caldwell and the oldest of her three siblings, Nelda, Becky, and Benny. Eva was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, and colleague. While living in Hoosick Falls, she was employed at Saint Gobain Plastics in the customer service department for many years. As her children grew older, Eva attended Southern Vermont College where she proudly earned her Bachelor's Degree, graduating magne cum laude of her class.

After her retirement, she moved back to Laconia, NH. Being a selfless individual, she loved helping others and supporting the community in which she lived. She drew strength from her faith and devoted much of her retired life to volunteering at the Congregational Church of Laconia and the Lakeport Community Association. Eva would dedicate time to care for ailing friends, visit shut-ins, and volunteer at the local shelters and food kitchens. She always had a kind word or a smile to offer everyone she met. Eva enjoyed knitting, reading, socializing with family and friends, and planning that next trip.

Eva is survived by her four children, Lea, Kevin, Devon, and Deirdre. She loved being a grandmother and great-grandmother and cherished spending time with her 8 grandchildren, Brandon, Kelsey & Zachary (Simpson), Logan (Thompson), Miles & Ava (Littlefield), and Noah & Madison (Littlefield). She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date with her interment at the family plot in Bayside Cemetery, Lakeport, NH.

Memorial donations in memory of Eva may be made to: Lifetime Care Hospice, 3111 S. Winton Road, Rochester, NY 14623 or to the Congregational Church of Laconia, 18 Veterans Square, Laconia, NH 03246.
