BENNINGTON -- Funeral services for Annette Ferron were held from Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales Church Thursday, Dec. 13, 2007, where the Mass of Resurrection was offered by the Rev. James Preskensis, pastor.

Organist was Donald McMahon and soloist was Monica Murray. Hymns offered during the funeral service were “Amazing Grace,” “Ave Maria,” the “Lords Prayer Chant,” “Breath of God O Breathe On Me,” “Prayer of St. Francis” and “In Paradisum.”

The pall that draped Mrs. Ferron’s casket was placed by a granddaughter, Joelle Vosburgh, and her husband Todd. A wooden cross was then placed on the casket by Joelle. The scriptural readings were offered by two sons, Richard and Paul Lamontagne. The offertory gifts were presented by Richard Lamontagne and his wife, Nancy.

Serving as acolytes during the service were Leonard Anzivino, Gerald McMurray, Ted Hajos and Joseph Anton.

A prayer service at the Mahar & Son Funeral Home preceded the funeral Mass and was offered by Richard Lamontagne.

Bearers were Richard, Paul and Daniel Lamontagne and Todd Vosburgh.

Burial took place in the family lot in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket, R.I., on Friday, where the committal prayers were offered by the Rev. Robert Perron of St. Joseph’s Church in Pawtucket.

Mrs. Ferron, a longtime resident of Bennington and formally of Central Falls, R.I., died Dec. 10, 2007, at Bennington Health and Rehab.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Mahar & Son Funeral Home.
