Frances P. Adams 1929 - 2009 HOOSICK FALLS, N.Y. Frances Patricia Adams, 80, a resident of the Danforth Community Care Home died Sunday evening, April 5, following a brief illness. Born in Bennington, Vt., on Jan. 5, 1929, daughter of Francis P. and Rosalie Durand O'Toole, she received her education in local schools and was a graduate of Bennington High School. In earlier years, Frances had worked at Frost's Pharmacy, Fishman's Department Store and the EZ Mill. During her marriage she was a homemaker. Her interests included her children, her grandchildren and especially her two great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading poetry. Her husband, Clifford L. Adams, whom she married Oct. 1, 1955, in Bennington, died April 14, 1992. She leaves one son, Stephen M. Adams and his wife, Patricia, of Eagle Bridge; a daughter, Sharyn M. Toner and her husband, Ronald, of Hoosick Falls; two grandchildren, Jason R. Holley and his wife, LauraLee, of Schenectady, and Shannon E. Tienken and her husband, Derrick, of Bennington, two great - grandsons, Bryce and Blake Tienken of Bennington; a very special niece, Joan Foster and her husband, Jim, of Bennington; several other nieces and nephews, and her sister, Ann Winslow and her husband, Ellis, of Bennington. She was predeceased her sister, Margaret Daigneault who died in February 2002, and her husband, Clayton, who died on Jan. 18, 2009. FUNERAL NOTICE: Services will beWednesday, April 8, 2009, at 10 at MAHAR and SON FUNERAL HOME, 628 Main St., Bennington, with the Rev. Michael DeMasi. Interment will follow in the family lot in Park Lawn Cemetery in Bennington. There will be no calling hours.
