Frank R. Wilwol (Chub) 85, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, VT. He resided at 726 Pine Valley Road, Hoosick Falls, NY with his wife of 59 years, Caroline Barber Wilwol. Frank was born on January 13, 1930, in Buskirk, NY. Frank was the son of the late Anthony and Isabell (Hunt) Wilwol.He was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Korean war from 1951 to 1953. Frank was a farmer all his life. He enjoyed spending time hunting, fishing and bow hunting. Survivors include his wife, Caroline Wilwol, sons, Donald (Colleen) Wilwol, Dwain (Beth) Wilwol and Joyce (Todd) Brewer, from Hoosick Falls, NY a brother, Joseph Wilwol (Nadine) of Cambridge, NY, a sister, Alice (Norman) Stenseth of Greenwich, NY. Seven grandchildren; Francis (Marla) Wilwol, Craig (Morgan) Wilwol, Amy Wilwol (Jason Steller), Megan Wilwol, Emily (Kyle) Miller, Samantha Brewer and Anna Brewer. Five great-grandchildren; Evan, Emma and Elijah Wilwol, Charlotte Wilwol and Jackson Steller, a cousin, Thomas and Kathleen Wilwol of Bell, FL, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Muriel Wilwol. Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. from The Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street, Hoosick Falls, NY. Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the Gerald B.H. Solomon/Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, NY. Relatives and Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, June 29, 2015 from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Karen & Molly McGovern Memorial Fund through the Mahar Funeral Home or the .
