Obituary Condolences

MANCHESTER -- A Mass of the resurrection for Frederick B. Hoyt was celebrated Monday morning May 21, 2007, at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church in Manchester. The Rev. John Whalen was the celebrant. Altar server was Kenneth Linehan. Music was under the direction of organist and musician Michael Gallagher who played the hymn’s “Amazing Grace,” “The Old Rugged Cross” and “Wind Beneath My Wings.” Scripture readings were offered by Earl LaBatt and the offertory gifts were presented at the altar by Mr. Hoyt’s grandchildren, Austin Vanessa and Colby Hoyt. Words of remembrance were offered by Mr. Hoyt’s daughter, Sandra Knight, and the eulogy was given by John Werner. Burial with full military honors was held Tuesday morning, May 22, 2007, at the Gerald B. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery. Serving as urn bearer was Mr. Hoyt’s grandson and Eagle Scout Breton Knight.

Frederick B. Hoyt of Arlington and most recently Bradenton, Fla., died May 16, 2007, at his home in Manchester surrounded by his family and friends after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Arrangements were under the care of Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home Arlington Chapel Route 7A Arlington, Vermont.
