Obituary Condolences

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Mr. Fredrick Behr Jr., 86, of Fort Lauderdale, died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2006.

A veteran of World War II, he served in England, Italy and North Africa, where he was a translator for German POW’s.

He was also a graduate of Columbia College and received his doctorate of jurisprudence from Columbia School of Law.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth K. Behr; their daughter, Liz Runyon; grandchildren, Julia Runyon and David Runyon; and great-granddaughter Abigail Rose.

His family will receive friends today from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. A memorial service will follow at 11:30 a.m. with the Rev. Bob Sands officiating.
