Gary Antognioni Obituary
Gary P. Antognioni

1961-2013 On October 5, 1961 a loving son, Gary P. (GIG) Antognioni was born to John and Donna Antognioni of Bennington, Vermont. He has two brothers John and Robert Antognioni also of Bennington; one Aunt, Nancy Margulis of SanDiego and two cousins Stephen Margulis of Los Angeles and Josh Margulis of Sebastapol, California. Gary lived most of his life in Bennington, Vermont. He worked mainly in security and sales. Gary married the former Ellen Roy over 28 years ago. Crazy in love with his soul mate Ellen, they had three children; Emily Catherine, Rachel Ellen and Kevin Gary Antognioni. In 2010 he moved his family where they all now reside in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. He often would say "Timing is Everything". Gary is preceded by both grandparents. He is also preceded by Ryan D. Winslow whose perfectly matched heart carried him for over seven wonderful, happy years. With this donation, Gary was able to carry out the journey God set forth for him. He blessed our lives every day. He was noted for his ability to make strangers into friends, his tremendous love, strength and courage and boasting about his family. He had great loyalty, love for sports, trivia whiz and sense of humor. Gary was privately deep in his faith. More importantly his Christianity came out in his kind acts, words and support to others. Not a day went by that he did not make someone feel really good about themselves. "Because Nice Matters". Even through all of his toughest struggles and tribulations he was able to say "I'm Fine" and never ask God why him. Gary passed away in his home surrounded by prayers, songs and his family and friends. Honorary pallbearers are Todd McLenithan, William LaFlamme and John Ahearn. FUNERAL NOTICE: Celebration of life will be in Mount Pleasant with a mass at Christ Our King Church on Thursday August 22nd 2013 at 10 am. The family will then travel to Bennington, Vermont to be in attendance for celebration of life at E.P. Mahar and Son Funeral Home on Sunday, August 25, 2013 from 2-5pm.
