Obituary Condolences

BONDVILLE -- Gerald E. “Jerry” Stevens, 61, died peacefully at his home in Bondville on Thursday, April 29, 2004 surrounded by his loving family, many dear friends, and his dog Sadie.

He was born April 19, 1943 in Landgrove, the son of the late Harold George Stevens and the late Leone (Decell) Stevens.

Survivors are his wife, Linda Lee Stevens of Bondville; his three daughters, Melissa Stevens Pursel of Truckee, Calif., Julie Ann Schubert of South Londonderry and Sarah Marie Stevens of Chester; his sisters, Tina Leone Kervin of Jaffrey, N.H. and Laurie Ann Pomeroy of Spofford, N.H.; one brother, Albert Frank Stevens of Springfield; his adorable grandsons, Ryan, Jackson and Devon; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sons-in-law, half brothers and sisters, and his former wife, Candace (Benson) Stevens. He was predeceased by his brothers, Harold Stevens Jr. “Juny,” Andrew Harold Stevens and James Charles Stevens.

He and his partner, Raymond Wilcox, owned BMW Painting Company for 35 years.

He enjoyed years of riding his Harley, hunting, fishing, golfing, watching NASCAR, his Fourth of July parties and being with his friends and family, all who loved him dearly.

Burial will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery in Weston at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 8, followed by a “celebration of life” at his home in Bondville.

Adams & Kenney Funeral Homes in Chester are in charge of arrangements.
