BENNINGTON -- A service to remember the life of Glenn F. Walk was held at the Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home on Monday afternoon.

The prelude consisted of a medley of songs played by bagpiper Robert Tunnicliff, special musical selections for the service included “In the Garden,” “How Great Thou Art” and “Amazing Grace” played by Mr. Tunnicliff. The Rev. Drosky in her eulogy reflected upon Mr. Walk’s enjoyment of the outdoors in fishing and walking in the woods, as well as his sense of humor and the love of his dog, Tramp.

The American flag was presented to Mr. Walk’s daughter, Kim Hassenpflug, by Commander Meehan. The taps and echo were sounded by bugler Maurice Rancourt.

Burial took place in the family lot in Oak Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Drosky offering the committal prayers. The Lord’s Prayer was recited in unison.
