Grace E. Joslin 1920 - 2008 BENNINGTON Grace E. Joslin, 87, wife of Fay E. Joslin, a resident of Bradford Street, died Monday, April 21, 2008 at the Vermont Veterans following a long illness. Born in Mount Tabor on Aug. 13, 1920, daughter of Walter and Permelia Merrow Stevens, she received her education in the Danby schools. Grace was a member of Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales and a former member of St. Jerome's Church in East Dorset. Her home and family were her greatest interest. Grace and Fay were married in Manchester on March 1, 1942 at the Zion Episcopal parsonage. Besides her husband of Bennington, she leaves a daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and John Pettibone of Pownal; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert E. and Barbara Joslin of Bennington; four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Laura Boynton of Arizona and Shirley McEcheron of Pennsylvania, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Jeanne Joslin. FUNERAL NOTICE: At Mrs. Joslin's request, funeral services will be private. Burial will take place in the family lot in Andersonville Cemetery, West Glover, Vt.
