Obituary Condolences

BENNINGTON -- Funeral services for Mrs. Grace M. Hurley were held from Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales Church, Saturday, May 10, 2003 where the liturgy of Christian death and burial was offered by the Rev. Robert W. Lozinski, c.s.c. pastor.

Organist was Donald McMahon and Soloist was Monica Murray. Hymns offered during the service were “Amazing Grace,” “Ave Maria,” “On Eagles Wings” and “Just a Closer Walk with Thee.” The pall that draped Mrs. Hurley’s casket during the Mass was placed by her children, Cindy Harrington and Joe Hurley. A wooden cross was placed upon the casket by her husband, Louis F. Hurley. Scriptural readings were offered by Leonard Anzivino. The offertory gifts were presented by Betsy Hurley, Carrie Haskell and Aimee Harrington.

Bearers were Norman Haskell, Michael Hurley, Andrew Hurley, William Davis, Tyrell Davis, and Mike Spangenberg.

A prayer service at the Mahar & Son Funeral Home preceded the funeral mass.

Friday evening the members of the Taconic Grange #491 conducted their services at the funeral home.

Burial took place in the family lot in White Chapel Cemetery with Father Lozinski offering the committal prayers.

Friends and family were invited to a reception following the service at the home of Cindy Harrington on Coleville Road.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Mahar & Son Funeral Home.
