Grayce Duncan Clark

Obituary Condolences

WILMINGTON -- A service in thanksgiving for the life of Grayce Duncan Clark was held from St. Mary’s in the Mountains Episcopal Church on Monday morning with the Rev. Canon Thaddeus Bennett, rector, officiating. Assisting Father Bennett was Laura Hunter, lay minister of the church. Music for the service was provided by organist Alan Dann, who accompanied the congregation in singing “The Church is One Foundation,” “In The Garden” and “How Great Thou Art.” Personal reflections and memories were offered by many friends. The service concluded with bagpiper Robert Tunnicliffe playing “Amazing Grace” and “Going Home.”

A time of fellowship and refreshment followed the service in the church hall, hosted by the ladies of the church. Burial will take place at a later date in the Sadwaga Cemetery in Whitingham.

Grayce Clark, 92, formerly of Whitingham and a resident of Bennington, died Aug. 18 at Crescent Manor Care Centers following a long illness.

Arrangements were under the care of the Covey & Allen Funeral Home in Wilmington.
