Harry D. Bromley 1921-2011 DANBY, VT Harry D. Bromley, 89 of Danby, Vt., passed away January 27, 2011 at Our House Outback Residential Care Home in Rutland. Harry was born in Danby on November 27, 1921, the son of Delos and Mary (Wetherby) Bromley. Harry was married to the former Virginia Buell. Harry was a dairy farmer for 23 years in Danby 4 Corners before moving to Easy Street where he worked as a carpenter until his retirement in 1986. Harry was also quite involved in maple sugaring for many, many years in Danby. Harry is survived by his wife Virginia of Danby, Vt., his son and daughter-in-law; Thomas and Debra Bromley of Pawlet, Vt., and their daughter; Rebecca Guenther of Essex, Vt.; his daughter and son-in-law; Sandra and Fred Stone of Pawlet, Vt., and their sons, Vernon Stone of Hudson Falls, N.Y. and Gary Stone of Nashport, Ohio; his daughter and son-in-law, Fern and Fred Snow of E. Arlington, Vt. and their sons, Keith Stone of Manchester, N.H. and Burr Stone of W. Arlington. Harry is also survived by his brother; Hugh Bromley of Danby, Vt., five great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by two sons; Lee and Martin Bromley and two brothers; Omar Wetherby and Mott Bromley. FUNERAL NOTICE: A graveside service for Harry will be held in the spring in Scottsville Cemetery in Danby. There will be no calling hours.
