Harry F. Mulready 1922 - 2008 HOOSIC FALLS, N.Y. Harry F. Mulready, 85, died Tuesday, July 29, 2008, at his residence at Wood Park Apartments. He formerly resided on Bussey Lane. Born on Oct. 30, 1922, in Green Island, N.Y., son of William and Emma Babcock Mulready, Harry was educated at schools in Petersburg and graduated from Hoosick Falls High School. An Army veteran of World War II, he served as a military policeman. He also served in the Army National Guard for many years. Harry was employed at the former Wood Flong until his retirement. He was a member of the Eagles Arie 2467, Elks Lodge 178, Derby Club, Pioneer Fish & Game Club, and American Legion Post 40, where he was a past commander. He was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church. He leaves several nieces, nephews, greatnieces and great nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Helen Jones, and by two sisters and two brothers. FUNERAL NOTICE: Services will be Friday at 9 a.m. from the MAHAR FUNERAL HOME, 43 Main St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. from the Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will follow the Mass at Meadowlawn Cemetery in North Petersburg, N.Y. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to either St. Mary's Academy or the Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad through the funeral home. Members of the American Legion Post # 40 will meet at the funeral home on Thursday at 7:30 to conduct their services.
