HOOSICK FALLS, N.Y. -- Harry Fleming, 90, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 19, 2006, at the Hoosick Falls Health Center where he had resided for the last four years. He was a lifelong resident of Hoosick Falls.

He was born on May 27, 1916, in Hoosick Falls, son of Joseph and Mary (Door) Fleming. Harry graduated from St. Mary’s Academy and worked all his life in Hoosick Falls, much of his career working at the Wood Flong Company, retiring in 1981. Harry was an avid fisherman for many years.

Survivors include two daughters, Therese Dudek of Hadley, Mass., and Susan Ausschnitt of Lexington, Mass.; a son, Tom Fleming, of East Greenbush; a sister, Kay LaFlamme of Hoosick Falls; three brothers, Walter Fleming of Florida, Bill Fleming of Southport, N.C., and Joe Fleming of Atlanta, Ga.; three grandchildren, Melissa, Zachary and Beau. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 12:15 p.m. from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 1 p.m. from the Immaculate Conception Church on Main Street.

Burial will follow the mass at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Hoosick Falls.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the start of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Academy through the funeral home.
