Obituary Condolences

WELLS -- Harry S. Corey, 77, died Jan. 31, 2005, at Fletcher Allen Hospital in Burlington following a short illness.

He was born July 14, 1927, in Danby, the son of Edgar and Alice Hart Corey.

Mr. Corey served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include four sons, Harry Corey of South Carolina, Dana Corey of Manchester Center, James Corey of Hudson Falls, N.Y. and Sfc. Dale Corey of Fort Stewart, Ga.; three daughters, Cindy Guy of Glens Falls, N.Y., Beverly Green of Phenix City, Ala. and Melissa Meighy of Winchester, N.H.; one brother, Edgar Corey of Wells; seven sisters, Mabel Davis of Bennington, Wilma Martindale and Helen Noble both of Granville, N.Y., Lena Shattuck of Bondville, Gloria Alden of Glens Falls, Linda Dorman of Bennington and Mae Ely of Wells; 23 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; an uncle, aunts, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. Corey was predeceased by his wife Mary E. Corey; two infant sons, Robert and Ricky Corey; and two sisters, Marguerite Corey and Marie Eiserman.

The funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Sunday at Modern Woodsmans Hall in Wells.

Burial will be in spring in Union Cemetery, Fort Edward, N.Y.

Friends may call at 10 a.m. Sunday before services at Modern Woodsmans Hall.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Robert M. King Funeral Home in Granville, N.Y.
