Obituary Condolences

BENNINGTON -- Heather Marie Jones Wilkinson, 21, a resident of North Branch Street, Bennington, Vermont died unexpectedly Monday, Sept. 26, 2005, at her residence.

She was born in Bennington, Aug. 2, 1984. She was the daughter of Kenneth and Dawn (Fuller) Jones. She received her education in Bennington and attended Mount Anthony Union High School.

She married Matthew John Wilkinson on Sept. 18, 2004, at the Green Mountain Christian Center in Bennington.

Heather had been employed at Generations Day Care, Movie Plex 3 and most recently at Cumberland Farms in Bennington. She loved children and especially enjoyed her nephews and cousins. She loved her dog China and doing arts and crafts. While in high school, Heather played on the field hockey team.

Survivors include her husband, Matthew John Wilkinson of Bennington; her parents, Kenneth and Dawn Jones of Bennington; her brother, Kenneth Jones Jr. of Bennington; her paternal grandparents, Ferd and Irene Jones of Bennington and Harry and Joan Browe of Wallingford; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ernest and Marta Wilkinson of Bennington; two sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Wilkinson and Amy Gifford, both of Bennington; four nephews, Kanaan, Clover, Kenny and Cale Gifford, all of Bennington; many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was pre-deceased by her maternal grandparents, Arthur Sprague and Pearl Murphy, and an uncle, Arthur Sprague Jr.

The funeral will be held from the Green Mountain Christian Center on Thursday, Sept. 29, 2005 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John Goyette officiating.

The burial will take place in the family lot in Park Lawn Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Mahar & Son Funeral Home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. when the family will be in attendance.
