Helen E. Cepela 1921-2012 DORSET Helen, E. Cepela, 90, a resident of Dorset Hollow Road in Dorset, passed away peacefully May, 3, 2012 at Rutland, Vermont Health and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her family. Helen was born at home in Dorset on December 20, 1921 the daughter of Pearl and Cassie (Baker) Tobin. She attended Dorset schools and graduated from Burr and Burton seminary, class of 1942. Helen loved taking care of her family and her home. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, knitting, and crocheting. She enjoyed playing the piano, golf, camping, and bowling. Helen enjoyed traveling to her winter home in Florida with her husband Vincent and enjoyed bird watching especially cardinals. She was a former 4-H member as a child, a Cub Scout den leader and a member of the Home-Dem Club. Helen especially found enjoyment in trying out her grandchildren's new toys. Helen is survived by her husband Vincent Cepela whom she married in Granville, N.Y., on October 4, 1946, her children; Dick Cepela and his wife Patti of Dorset, Vt., and Linda Cepela and her fiance John Farrand of Pittsford, Vt., her brother Morris Tobin and his wife Betty of East Rupert, Vt., her favorite grandchildren; Kristi Bacon, Darri Beach, Jennifer Rogers, Michael Wilcox and Chad Cepela and seven great grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE: Graveside funeral services for Helen will be held Saturday May 26, 2012 at 11am in Maple Hill Cemetery in Dorset. There are no visiting hours.
