Obituary Condolences

BENNINGTON -- Mrs. Helen E. Robinson, 89, a resident of West Main Street, died Friday morning, March 24, 2006, at the home of her niece, Joanne Farrington, on Branch Street, where she had been staying since January.

She was born in Bennington on Oct. 19, 1916, and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Amanda (Pinnsoneault) Sausville.

Helen received her education in Bennington and was a graduate of Bennington High School. Helen married Mr. William Robinson at Sacred Heart Church in Bennington on May 27, 1937. In early years, Helen was employed at various mills in the area, including Thomson Manufacturing and Tansitor Electronics. More recently she had worked as a nurse’s aide doing private duty in the area.

She was a communicant of Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales Church in Bennington. Helen is survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by 12 brothers and sisters: Joseph, William, George, Adolphus, Arthur, and Raymond Sausville, Mary Sausville, Rose Buss, Bernadette Betit, Cecilia Kirwan, Claire Lawrence and Alice Senecal.

The funeral will be held from the Mahar & Son Funeral Home, 628 Main St., on Monday, March 27, 2006, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Michael DeMasi officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot in Park Lawn Cemetery in Bennington.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
