BENNINGTON -- Helen Keller, 98, a longtime resident of Schenectady, N.Y., and most recently of Bennington, died on Monday morning, May 22, 2006, at the Bennington Health and Rehabilitation Center following a brief illness.

Helen was born in Schenectady on Feb. 4, 1908 and was the daughter of the late Michael and Eva Kwiatkowski. She received her education in Schenectady. She is the widow of Robert Keller, who died in 1989. Her home and her family were her main interests.

She was a lifelong communicant of St. Luke’s Church in Schenectady.

Helen is survived by her granddaughter, Louann DiDonna of Schenectady; her great-granddaughter, Patricia DiDonna; her great-great-grandsons, Tyler and Robert DiDonna; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Keller was predeceased by her daughter, Patricia Keller, who died in 1975.

A memorial Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, May 26, at 9 a.m. at St. Luke’s Church on State Street in Schenectady with the Rev. Dominic Isopo officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot in Evergreen Cemetery in Schenectady.
