Obituary Condolences

Helen D. Kollar ARLINGTON, VT Helen D. Kollar, 90, passed away on Aug. 17, 2010, at Crescent Manor Care Center, Bennington, after a long illness. Helen was the wife of the late Michael Emery Kollar, beloved mother of Gay (Bill) Thimm and grandmother of Ami Sommariva (Sacramento, Calif.). Helen also leaves two nieces who were especially close to her, Elma Harrick (Mullica Hill, N.J.), Mary Louise Dick (Chalk Hill, Pa.) and a great niece, Jamie Harrick (Philadelphia, Pa.). Helen was always the "life of the party" and lived life to the fullest as long as she was able. She loved to travel and never missed an opportunity to dance! Helen had a unique sense of humor and we always said that "Gracie Allen (wife of comedian George Burns) would never be dead as long as Helen was alive!" Our family would like to thank the staff at Crescent Manor, but especially her nurse, Helen Sheridan and Bertha Johnson, LNA, for their professionalism, loving care and devotion through the years. In addition, we thank Terrie Choquette and "CJ" for Terrie's kindness and CJ's canine companionship that brought Helen much happiness. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will be private at the request of the family. Internment will be at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Mich. To send the family personal email condolences please visit www.sheafuneralhomes.com. The family has entrusted arrangements to the care of HANSON-WALBRIDGE FUNERAL HOME ARLINGTON CHAPEL Historic Route 7A, Arlington VT.
