Obituary Condolences

NORTH BENNINGTON -- Funeral services for Henrietta P. Hoxie were held at the North Bennington Congregational Church on Wednesday morning, March 31, 2004 with the Rev. Penny Rich Smith, pastor, officiating. Personal reflections and memories of Mrs. Hoxie were offered by the pastor and Lori Ann Coolidge, a great niece. The congregation recited The Lord’s Prayer and Psalm 23 in unison. The poem “Life’s Pattern” was read by Pastor Penny. The organist for the service was Phebe Ann Lewis who accompanied the congregation in singing “Fairest Lord Jesus” and “God of Our Life.” The words to one of Mrs. Hoxie’s favorite hymns, “I Would Be True” were read by Pastor Penny, the service concluded with Mrs. Lewis playing the music to the hymn as a time of meditation. Interment will take place in the family lot in Springfield Cemetery in Springfield, Mass. at a later date.

Arrangements were under the care of the Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home.
