Obituary Condolences

Isabel White, 26, of 38 West Road Park, took her own life this past week.
She was the daughter of Christine Michael and Martin White of Salem, N.Y., and is survived by her daughter Catalina Michael White, 3, and Storm Joseph White, age 5 months. She is also survived by her brothers, Aditep White of Salem, N.Y. and Jonathan White of Glens Falls, N.Y., and sister, Carmen MacCrudden of Wynantskill, N.Y. She also leaves behind her dog, Aruba, who was a treasured part of her family.
Isabel was a beloved member of extended families that included her uncle Jay Michael and aunt Susan Lavallee of Durham, N.H.; aunts, Anita Conte of Worcester, Mass. and Ellen Kalt of Amherst. Mass.; uncle Thomas White of Germany; grandparents, Shirley and the late Joseph Michael of Durham, N.H.; and grandfather Donald White of Barre, and Adelheid White of Lexington, Mass.
Isabel was a 2005 graduate of Mount Anthony High School, and a licensed LNA who worked most recently at the Vermont Veterans Home.
She was adopted at age 8 by her parents from Ecuador, and she will be remembered as a strong, athletic, proud person who loved animals and her children with an equally fierce spirit. Isabel was a wonderful artist and creative parent who enjoyed the outdoors, scary movies, and gardening.
The family will hold a private ceremony, but anyone who wishes to commemorate the friend who overcame so much in her short, difficult life should help the nearest animal shelter with a donation or sponsorship of an animal.
The family also wishes to thank all of the wonderful people who educated her, mentored her, saw and celebrated her incredible talents, and cared about what happened to her and her children.
