Obituary Condolences

OXFORD, Conn. -- James V. “Jim” Mauri, 35, of Oxford, entered into rest on Monday, June 19, 2006.

He was the beloved husband of Monica Franz Mauri. Jim was born in Derby on Aug. 21, 1970, son of Anthony Mauri Sr. and Kathy Weiler Mauri. He was raised in Derby and moved to Bennington, Vt., where he lived for several years before returning to Connecticut. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during Desert Storm.

Jim was a manager of many local auto dealerships and he was a friend to all. He is the loving brother of Anthony Mauri Jr. and Robin Brownell. Jim is also survived by several nieces, nephews aunts, uncle and cousins.

Friends may call on Thursday and Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St., Derby. Friends may go directly to the Church of the Good Shepherd, 135 Mountain Road, Seymour, for a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. Saturday. His burial with full military honors will be at Mount St. Peter’s Cemetery. Friends may leave condolences at www.adzimafh.com.
