When retired, Jane and her husband traveled and enjoyed fishing, golf and bridge on the gulf coast of Texas and Florida. After John’s death in 2000, she lived quietly and happily in her home on the North Hoosick Road with her granddaughter and the help of devoted car-takers. There she loved to read, watch birds and visit with friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Bell Davison, and her son-in-law, John Mors of The Netherlands; her granddaughterl Charlotte Bell of Hoosick Falls; and her grandchildren, William Sturtevant Verhoef, Marie Piper Mors and Simon Davison Mors, all of The Netherlands.
