Obituary Condolences

APACHE JUNCTION, Ariz. -- Janet M. Carpenter Reagan, 60, went to the house of the Lord on March 30, 2003. Mrs. Reagan died unexpectedly at her home in Apache Junction. She was born on April 4, 1942 in Bennington, Vt., to Ernest E. and Dorothy E. (Dorman) Carpenter.

Mrs. Reagan is survived by her beloved husband, Edward Reagan, one son, Chip, and two grandchildren, Robin and Samantha. She is also survived by one brother, Lawrence Carpenter, of Bennington; four sisters, Beatrice O’Dell of Bennington, Leona Willard of Whitney Point, N.Y., Alice Sanders of Shaftsbury, Vt. and Linda Holland of Pownal, Vt.; one aunt, Eunice (Dorman) Sawyer, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by three brothers, Raymond, John, and Donald Carpenter; one sister, Mildred Thompson.

Mrs. Reagan attended the local schools in Bennington and worked with her husband Edward at Reagan’s Mobile Station formerly on Main Street, until relocating to Arizona where she continued to work with her husband.

Mrs. Reagan’s main interests were her loving husband, family, home and especially working with her horses and faithful dogs Petey and Fred.

A memorial service was held in celebration of Mrs. Reagan’s life on April 4. 2003 at the Valley of The Sun Mortuary, Chandler, Ariz.
