Obituary Condolences

BENNINGTON -- A prayer service was held on Wednesday morning, July 20, 2005, at the Mahar & Son Funeral Home in Bennington followed by a Mass of Christian death and burial at Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales Church in Bennington with the Rev. Vincent Coppola, csc, associate pastor, officiating.

Acolytes for the mass were Leonard Anzivino, Francis Sausville and Dr. Barth Vander Els. The scriptures were read by Anzivino and Vander Els. The gifts were brought to the altar by Rose Nichols and Vicky Trudeau.

Members of the Catholic Daughters of America, Court St. Andrew, were represented by Theresa Long, Geraldine Sausville, Anna Becker, Madeline Gratton, Kay Allen, Rita McCann, Louise Gauthier, Mary Morrissey, Mary Vander Werken, Dolly Pallo and Joann Dunham. Also in attendance as honorary bearers from the St. Anne’s Society were Joanne Betit, Noella Boisvert, Estella Hoth, Alda Cole, Janet Sausville, and Marie Ray.

The pallbearers for the services were Alex Mahar, William Hurley, Lawrence Shutts, Charles Becker and Michael McGarrahan.

The interment services followed in the family lot in White Chapel Cemetery where the Rev. Vincent offered the prayers of committal. A reception followed at the parish hall following the interment services.

Ms. Janet Partridge, 59, a resident of Jewett Drive, died on Sunday morning, July 17, 2005, at the Centers for Living and Rehabilitation in Bennington following a long illness.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Mahar & Son Funeral Home in Bennington.
