Obituary Condolences

ARLINGTON -- The memorial Mass for Mrs. Jeanne B. Poulin was celebrated from St. Margaret Mary’s Church on Friday afternoon with the Rev. George Dupuis, pastor, officiating. The Old Testament was read by a granddaughter, Heather Ferguson, and the New Testament was read by a son, Tom Poulin. The eulogy was given by granddaughter Angela Gamble.

The offertory gifts were presented to the altar by great-granddaughter Hannah Eggemeier and granddaughters Megan Gamble and Nicole Langlois. Music for the service was provided by organist Louise Gauthier. She accompanied soloist Dawn Decker, who sang “Here I Am, Lord,” “On Eagles’ Wings,” “Let Us Break Bread Together” and “Amazing Grace.”

A reception, hosted by the St. Margaret Mary’s Ladies Sodality, followed in the parish hall.

Interment services with committal prayers were held on May 22 at the family lot in St. Columban’s Cemetery with Father Dupuis officiating.

Serving as bearers were Will Langlois, Max Grout, William Langlois, James Poulin and Alden Grout.

Mrs. Poulin, 88, formerly of Arlington, died May 17 in Salem, Va.

Arrangements were under the care of the Arlington Chapel of the Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home, Route 7A.
