ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Jeffery M. Galusha, born Sept, 30, 1955 and raised in Arlington, Vt., son of Vivian (Grover) Galusha and the late Raymond Galusha, died on April 3, 2005 at the age of 49 at his home in St. Petersburg.

He was the beloved husband of Tina (Williams) Galusha, originally from Vestal, N.Y. He was predeceased by his father, Raymond, in December 1978. In addition to his wife and mother, survivors include two sons, Jeffery Jr. and Jacob Galusha; two brothers, R. Dennis Galusha and Brian Galusha, both of Arlington; aunts, cousings, nieces and nephews; and his loyal friend and dog, Spike.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a member of American Legion Post 69 in Arlington and the Disabled American Veterans.

He enjoyed all kinds of music, the Christmas holiday, and he had a passion for auto body restoration. He was employed as a production ranger with Jabill Circuits in St. Petersburg. He fought a long battle with cancer, and suffered from COPD, emphysema and spinal stenosis.

A memorial service was held on April 7 at the Five Oaks Community Church in Pinellas Park, with the Rev. Dr. Kent F. Austin Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Arlington at the convenience of the family.
