Obituary Condolences

ARLINGTON -- A memorial service and burial took place on Sept. 10 for Jeffrey M. Galusha, formerly of Arlington. Mr. Galusha died on April 3, 2005, at his home in St. Petersburg, Fla. He leaves his wife Tina (Williams) Galusha; two sons, Jeffery Jr. and Jacob Galusha; his mother Vivian Galusha; two brothers, R. Dennis Galusha and Brian Galusha; aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Raymond Galusha, in December 1978.

At the graveside memorial, Tina Galusha read a poem she wrote for her husband, and Jeffrey Jr. said heartfelt words of honor and praise for his father. Full military honors were given by American Legion Post 69 of Arlington. Chaplain Fred Sheldon conducted the military service, and Commander Richard King presented the American flag to Tina. “Taps” was played by Carl Graves. Long-time friend and co-worker Larry Clayton played “Where the Roses Never Fade” on guitar. A memorial service was offered by his brother-in-law, the Rev. Allen Young from Smethport, Pa. Committal burial services were conducted by the Rev. George H. Dupuis, pastor of St. Margaret Mary Church in Arlington. Burial was in the family plot at Evergreen Cemetery in Arlington.
