1944 - 2014 DORSET Jessie L. Baker, 70, a resident of Peace Lane, passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 3, at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center. Jessie was born in Dorset, on Feb. 20, 1944, the daughter of the late David Baker, Sr.and Lillian (Reed) Baker. Jessie worked as a housekeeper in the Dorset area for many years and was a member of the Rupert Church of Christ. Jessie was a women who loved to smile, joke and was always full of life. She cherished times spent with her family,especially her grandchildren, and always held her family dear to her heart. She enjoyed bowling, dancing, listening to country music, fishing, cooking, camping, swimming, was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and loved her black lab Mandy. Jessie is survived by her husband Ronald Felion of Vt., children P. Allen Piper, William Piper and his wife, Jennifer, and Rhonda Piper-Heins all of N.H., Brenda Kelly, and Mary Kelly of Vt., sister, Madeline Bullock of Vt.; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased in death by her three brothers, Clyde, Glenn and David Baker. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Jessie will be held Saturday, Dec. 13, at 2 p.m. at BREWSTER SHEA FUNERAL SERVICE 34 Park Place Manchester Center, Vt. The Rev. Paul Mychack of the Rupert Church of Christ will officiate. Interment will be held in the family lot in Factory Point Cemetery at a later date in the spring. There are no visiting hours.
