Obituary Condolences

RUTLAND -- Jetta Isabel Martin, 90, a resident of Haven Health Center in Rutland, died at her residence on Wednesday evening, Jan. 25, 2006. Mrs. Martin was born in Wilmington on Feb. 25, 1915. She was the daughter of the late John and Eva Mae (Quinn) Davidson; she grew up in Wilmington, where she attended local schools. During World War II while living in Stamford, she worked at Sprague Electric in North Adams, Mass., to assist in the war effort. She later moved to Bennington where she worked at the former Polygraphic Company in North Bennington. For many years she had resided in New Fairfield, Conn., relocating to Hydeville in 1995 to be nearer her son Bill.

She leaves her son, William Dunn of Benson; a sister, Sharron Segar of Manchester, N.H.; a half-sister, Sandy Mundell of East Dover; a half-brother, James Martin of Alexandria, N.H.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husbands, William Dunn and Lester Martin; a stepmother, Bernice Davidson; a son, Dennis Dunn, and a half-brother, Butch Davidson.

She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Lester Martin, in the Intervale Cemetery in Wilmington in the spring; public graveside services will be held at that time. There are no calling hours.
