Joan A. Braman 1943-2008 NORTH ADAMS Joan A. Boyer Braman, 66, of 611 State Road, North Adams formerly of 242 White Oaks Rd. Williamstown, died Sunday March 15, 2009 at her home. She was born in Williamstown on January 28, 1943 a daughter of the late Bernard F. Boyer and Madeline A. O'Dell Boyer. She attended schools in Williamstown including Williamstown High School. She was employed at Steinerfilm Co. for 30 years. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved spending time with them and supporting all their activities. Her Husband Walter A. Braman died December 3, 2007. She leaves two daughters, Lisa Braman of Pownal, Vt. and Laurie Lingner and her husband, John, of Pownal, Vt.; one son, Scott Braman and his wife, Amber, of North Adams; two grandchildren, Matthew and Katie Braman; one stepgrandson, Jacob Jelley; two sisters, Claire Kristensen of Lanesboro and Rosalie Richard of Wynantskill, N.Y.; and one brother, Francis Boyer of Bellbrook, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will take place Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams with the Rev. Peter Pierson officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in North Pownal Cemetery. Calling Hours at the funeral home are Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations are suggested for the St. Jude Children's Hospital through the funeral home.
