Obituary Condolences

BENNINGTON -- A prayer was held for John F. Bromirski on Thursday morning, March 30, 2006, at the Mahar & Son Funeral Home in Bennington followed by a Mass of Resurrection at Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales Church in Bennington with the Rev. Bernard Bourgeois, a longtime family friend, officiating.

The pall was placed on the casket by his son, John Bromirski, and his daughter, Ann Marie Camp. The cross of resurrection was placed on the casket by his wife, Martha.

Assisting at the mass were: Leonard Anzivino, Joseph Anton, Barth Vander Els, and Bernard Bourgeois Sr. The Scriptures were read by Mr. Anzivino. Organist for the mass was Mr. Donald McMahon and the soloist was Monica Murray. Selected hymns for the mass included: “Amazing Grace,” “How Great Thou Art,” “Just A Closer Walk With Thee” and “The Prayer of St. Francis.”

The interment services followed in the family lot in White Chapel Cemetery in Bennington, where Father Bourgeois offered the prayers of committal.

Pallbearers for the services included David Bromirski, Mark Bromirski, Ron Ayotte, Fred Spindler, Gary Keegan and Richard “Butch” Robinson.

A time of fellowship followed at the Sacred Heart St. Francis De Sales Parish Hall.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Mahar & Son Funeral Home in Bennington.
