Obituary Condolences

ARLINGTON -- Joseph N. Walsh, 75, of Clarksville, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2008, in Paris Regional Medical Center.

Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with the Rev. Cindy Baker officiating. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Honorary Pallbearers are, Frank Faulkner, James Faulkner, Jack Holt, Rev. Sam Rice, Casey York and Bobby Brannen.

Mr. Walsh was born May 24, 1932, in Luzerne, N.Y., a son of Harold and Elinor Foder Walsh. He loved to follow NASCAR and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War Era and was a member of the Pine Grove Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Walsh.

Survivors include his wife, Marlene Willard Walsh, of Clarksville.

They were married in Essex Junction in 1954; three sons, Max and wife Alice Marr Walsh of Detroit, Texas, Dwain and wife Ella Baird Walsh of Hubbardton, Scott Walsh of Arlington; two daughters, Michelle Ennis of Fair Haven, and Linda Naaktgeboren and husband Andrew of Arlington; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Ruth Redhead of Minneapolis, Minn.

Memorials may be made to the Victory Junction Gang Camp, 4500 Adams Way, Randleman, N.C., 27317.

Local arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Arlington Chapel of the Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home, Route 7A, Arlington.
