Obituary Condolences

Juana, Jasmil & Cesar Jimenez

Juana Jimenez, 40, and her two children Jasmil, 13 and Cesar, 10, died Sunday morning June, 6, 2010, as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in Pittstown, N.Y. Originally from the Dominican Republic, the family immigrated to the United States. Juana was employed at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center. Juana was a role model for her children, encouraging them to be the best they could be and to respect others as well as themselves.

Jasmil was a sixth grader at Mount Anthony Union Middle School. She will be forever remembered by her classmates and teachers for her outstanding work ethic, her kindness to all, her energetic approach to all things, and her beautiful smile.

Jasmil had wisdom beyond her years. She had a detailed life plan by the time she was eleven years old. She enjoyed singing, reading, and learning in general. She was truly a friend to everyone and will be missed by all who knew her.

Cesar was a fourth grade student at Molly Stark School where he will be remembered by his classmates for his bright smile and energetic personality. Cesar was a gifted singer and part of Molly Stark's Festival Chorus. His love for reading, celebrations, and candy will always have a special place with his friends and teachers.

The family leaves Jerinson Toribio, 19, and Jennifer Jimenez, 15, as well as an extended family in the Dominican Republic.

The family will be returned to their native Dominican Republic for services and burial.
